South African dancer Dada Masilo's take on Swan Lake. In this story, there is a love triangle involving a homosexual male and a heterosexual female who both want their prince. Apart from the prince, all the dancers wear tutus, as they are simply representing male and female swans. AlÃ¨s, Feb. 2013.

The "Colorado ProvenÃ§al", or ocres de Rustrel, near Apt, in the LubÃ©ron region. This ochre quarry was exploited from the end of the 17th century until 1992. October 2011.

This and the next 14 pictures were taken during a period of intense cold in February 2012, when temperatures remained below freezing for over ten days. Even the mighty RhÃ´ne was partly frozen, and the locals had never seen anything like it...
The cold provided some great photo opportunities wherever water turned into ice, particularly at the Cascades du Sautadet, near La-Roque-sur-CÃ¨ze.
